The Sixth Amendment Right to Counsel and the Role of the Public Defender

This course covers the nature and scope of the right to counsel, the right to effective assistance of counsel, as well as the standards and circumstances that shape the current practice of public defense.

Public Defender Residency (Experiential)

Note that the former Misdemeanor Clinic is now the Defender Clinic. This in-house criminal defense clinic will be offered in the near future. Stay tuned!
